I used the almost 2 to 1 rule. I drew a straight line up and down. Then I drew a line at 35 degrees, then I measured for the opposite side with a ruler and mirrored it. If I had the heat I'd make a "how to" video Quote Doc Reaper

If I had the heat I'd make a "how to" video cut a piece of cardstock what ever width you want then simply use it to draw or scribe your diamonds or squares at any angle you wish. you can draw then on the pattern or scribe them directly on the leather. takes no math if you don't want or you can use a protractor to get a precise angle. Quote Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms. “I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” THE DUKE!

That is a great way of explaining it! Quote
