That's a fantastic looking seat and what a nice colour/tone.

Looks black and red at the same time and matches the theme very good.

Just love to look at those seats you and the guys put out. Gotta try itmyself.

Hey Roger,

Looks great buddy, are those seat orders starting to come in again? I couldn't imagine that you would not get busy again and pretty quick too.

The new one look great as always, Is it black or did you custom mix something for it?

the seat is black and the "red" tooling is a combination of ox blood and mahogany. i use it quite a bit when i need a deep red

seat orders are still rather slow but i am pushing and begging along with letting guys know that i am not booked up so i am starting to get some work.

i am close to investing in a sewing machine and am going to start producing some bags to take up the inbetween time.

yes...that red is my custom mix of ox blood and mahogany

very cool! a seat is on my list of things to do when my skills improve...

how thick of padding do you guys use on average?

do you put anything around the metal seat pan to prevent it from wearing a hole in the covering?

does having a tooled seat effect the comfort at all?

thanks!

Hi DJc,

Trim-Lok works pretty good. It's is a PCV product for just that purpose. Trimmer's supply places will have it or something similar.

Sorry, Trimmers are automotive upholsterers.
