outcast Report post Posted December 7, 2007 Picked up the latest Street Choppers rag today. The cover shot is a bike from Sucker Punch Sallys', so I wondered if it had one of Daves seats on it. Sure enough there is a pic of the seat included in the article, and Dave is credited in the spec sheet for doin the leather. Congrats Dave! You do great work, and it deserves more attention. outcast Report post Posted December 8, 2007 Don't have a scanner, or I would. Dave prolly has better pics of it anyway. I'll look on his website, & see if it's there. Steve
Guest Report post Posted December 8, 2007 Steve, Believe it or not, I didn't know anything about the bike or article. Which bike/seat is in Street Choppers this month? Thanks, Dave Theobald
outcast Report post Posted December 8, 2007 It has a skull tooled onto the leather, fab kevin bracket, and I think it's black, or really dark choclate. The bike is an 72' FL rigid Jeff built for himself, sold to Christian Clayton, and now there making production bikes modeled after it. I looked on your website, but couldn't find it, or I completely missed it. I looks like either a single or double loop lacing. Steve
Guest Report post Posted December 8, 2007 Thanks Steve, It sounds like maybe it is the 66 bobber. I didn't know an article was coming out on it. I'll have to try to pick up a copy of the magazine today....Thanks for the heads up! Dave

Guest Report post Posted December 8, 2007 (edited) Nice bike, I like it, but it isn't an SPS. I'll have to check it out at the local Wally World..... aka Walmart. Dave Edited December 8, 2007 by David
Guest Report post Posted December 9, 2007 Ok, I found the magazine...that is Christian (the boss) Clayton on the cover. The bike is a re-hab of an old Harley that Jeff did. He wanted to make this one REALLY low. He succeded. The kickstand would drag when you went around a corner. He moved the kickstand to fix that. Now it looks really SUPER low from the side view. If these are going into production at this ride height, they are going to sell a boat load of them. It is a super looking bike. And feels like you are sitting in an easy chair. I especially like it in the Harley orange and black. The seat, yeah that's mine. Dave Theobald
