What type of Edge beveler do you use?

Recommended Posts

Right on man! Lots a miners run cat up here. Just an old komatsu dozer myself and just for opening the road up to my place in the spring. Too long to keep open during winter. Plus I got a decent enough snow cat that gets me home just fine.

Anyway, that’s a good chunk of change for some chisels. I’m sure they’re worth it though. I actually tried my drill press with a 2mm bit and it actually worked well. Just that the holes didn’t close up as nice, like they do with a chisel, I think.

Yeah the Weaver Diamond stitching chisels are nice. They only cost about $25/set.

So if you are looking to get a set. I would check them out.

I've tried quite a few different bevelers but have pretty much settled on the horseshoe brand with the plastic handle that accepts all the different size inserts. They seem easier to sharpen too.

Right on. Thanks. Gotta check those out. Apologies for the late response.

This topic has been very well covered, but the one I have has interchangeable bevellers  , from #1 to # 5 , but I seem to keep using the #5, however, I have also learnt to increase or decrease the pressure when bevelling , saves having to keep changing blades for different applications, I do have quite a few other Tandy, and Craft tool bevellers that can use, but I'm just lazy , lol
