Knife Sheathes

hello folks and of course ladies,

i´m a newbie from austria and i´ve been interested in leather working for a long time, did some covers for my longbow and my wifes longbow and then i caught the kinfemaking bug

as for me part of the process of making a knife is making also a sheath i dug out my few leather working tools and started working with the advice of some books i bought

i have a long way to go, but practice will pay its price, as always!

here are some of my works, hope you enjoy the beginners pieces!

yes, all mistakes with sheaths and knife handles are mine only

Really nice stuff, well done, I do have a question about the last photo, what are the little wings at the point? I was thinking maybe an anchor for tying a thong around the thigh to stabilize the sheath on the belt? I probably have over thought it and it is something real simple! LOL Jordan
