Henry Report post Posted December 14 Greetings People, I'm searching for some parts for a Junker und Ruh SD28 sole stitching machine. Specifically the ones in the pictures. I also have brand new Shuttles and bobbins available if anyone is interested. For either the Junker Machines or the Pedersen no. 208 machines. They are essentially identical. I also have some other used parts available for these machines as well. If you can help in any way please let me know. And if there is interest in the shuttles or bobbins or other parts let me know. Thanks, Henry, Toronto, Canada
Constabulary Report post Posted December 14 I may have the tension part in in the 2nd picture, can you give me the outer diameter and the measures of the center hole with the flat side.
Henry Report post Posted December 14 (edited) Thank you. The outside diameter is 25 mm and the diameter of the inside hole with the flat side is 6mm. Do you have this machine and do you need anything yourself for such a machine? Edited December 15 by Northmount Replaced heic files with jpegs
Constabulary Report post Posted December 14 I had one a some years ago. Cool needle feed machine but it was nearly useless for what I did and hand cranking is so annoying when you want to sew longer seams so really nothing I would recommend nowadays but for f.i. for the custom shoe trade (and the like) a really well made machine but needles are rare and expensive. I´ll check for the part this weekend or on Monday.
Constabulary Report post Posted December 15 (edited) BTW I cannot open the HEIC files in post #3. Anyway - I found the part but I have to find my caliper to verify the measures. Later... Edited December 15 by Constabulary
Northmount Report post Posted December 15 @Henry Please post your photo files as jpeg or png files. heic files files are a proprietary format and not all devices and operating systems are able to display them. Many users will not download links to unknown files or sites so you are limiting the audience your are attempting to reach. Constabulary Report post Posted December 15 (edited) Here are the measures of my part. Diameter: ~24mm Hole round to flat side: ~5mm Hole round to round side: ~5.5mm Maybe yours is a bit worn and is bit flattened over the years. So i would say it either fits as is or can be reworked a little bit to make it work. Let me know what you think. EDIT: Just figured the Canadian Postal Workers are on strike. Henry Report post Posted December 15 Hi Constabulary, Your part is ever so slightly different, But I can certainly work with that. You are right, Our lovely Postal Service is on strike but yesterday the Government said they had to go back to work. Of course they have a lot of Xmas mail to catch up with so probably better to wait until that clears up. If you send me an Email at: thru2henry@gmail.com then we can swap details if that works for you. Hi Northmount, I've attached th pictures in JPEG format. I used an iphone which takes them this way for some reason. I'm sure there is a way to convert them on the phone but I haven't figured that out yet. Constabulary Report post Posted Tuesday at 04:30 AM The German DHL / Postal Service website still states (Dec. 17th) that they atm do not ship to Cananda. I guess things have piled up on the Canadian side and have to delivered first. I have an eye on it a keep you updated. Website is in German language https://www.dhl.de/de/privatkunden/pakete-versenden/weltweit-versenden/land/kanada.html
Henry Report post Posted Tuesday at 03:45 PM Yes, they say they are going back to work today but there is 4 weeks of backlog mail so I think it will take a while to clear up the mess. Only in Canada!! I'll let you know when it seems to be back to normal. Maybe there will be a "new normal" after this nobody knows at the moment. Thanks, Henry

Probably why they are not shipping to Canada at this moment. glenn
