The inside of the post is 3/16" deep, however it is not threaded. This post is stainless steel and quite hard; the end of the post will not smash like a softer rivet. I hope the photos posted. Thanks for your help. I don't see the pics. The usual advice is to resize your images to 800 pixels in the longest dimension to get them under our size requirements.
