Juki 562/562 bobbin thread direction

Hello all, 

     I recently picked up a 563 and have been stumped on which way the bobbin thread goes.  “P” or backwards P? I’ve seen both ways used in videos and the manual isn’t at all clear. 
Maybe it doesn’t matter but the “P” makes more sense with the way the slot in the hook is cut.
