Members LMullins Posted March 28 Members Report Posted March 28 Hey Folks, To those that use Angelus Leather Paints (whether as part of carving, or painting an entire panel) What sort of finish have you experienced good results with? To my understanding, most people use Resolene or Acrylic finishers, but I've stuck by wax finishes. What has worked for you? Tan-Kote, Resolene, etc? Quote
FrankHester Posted March 28 Report Posted March 28 Resolene either dabbed or sprayed on has been good. I don't think you want to rub it on because it might take some paint away. I have no other ideas though so I will follow this posting. Quote
Members DoogMeister Posted March 29 Members Report Posted March 29 I've been using Feibing's Leather sheen applied with an air brush. Resolene thinned 50-50 with water and air brushed works well also, but the leather sheen has less gloss, which I prefer. Quote
