Members Xanthe Posted Saturday at 03:17 PM Members Report Posted Saturday at 03:17 PM The oil level window on my sewing machine leaks oil. I can't get into the machine body to replace the window without a whole lot of trouble. I'm thinking I could seal the join from the outside. Does anyone have experience of this, or know what I should use to seal it? Thanks. Quote
Members GerryR Posted Monday at 08:22 PM Members Report Posted Monday at 08:22 PM I don't know how your machine is assembled but my lathe has oil level windows that pop out of the front of the machine and you just replace an O-ring to stop a leak from the window. I use a thin blade to work around the window to get it out. I dont know of any "repair" sealer that will work once the oil starts leaking; maybe someone else does. Quote
