Members TheFrood Posted May 13 Members Report Posted May 13 Mostly I've just repaired or modified things in extremely unattractive manners. The modifications will outlast the product I modified though just going by strength. Slowly starting to get into making items but life has a way of interrupting and getting its own way. Finally able to work on my own projects again but finding new motivation is the challenge now. Still love seeing everything that everyone here posts in the Show Off tab though and get real value going through the How To section! Quote

Members BlackDragon Posted May 13 Members Report Posted May 13 Welcome to the forum! When I first started with leather it was because I didn't want to pay for a "high priced" holster so, I made my own. It wasn't pretty by any means but it served its purpose. I learned why holsters are priced the way they are and now charge my customers for "high priced" holsters. It takes time and patience but eventually it becomes second nature. Quote

Mine was a hat. $150 for a hat?!? $500 later I had a hat ... And a new skill.
