BruceGibson Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 Here's a few pictures of another belt I did. This is another dual-layer Hermann Oak, 1-1/2" wide in Cherry (Black Cherry) with an old standard cross-cut pattern and camo border stamp and white stitching. The edges are burnished, then painted, then burnished again and waxed...and yes, more burnishing. I'm still too limited to actually post real pictures so here's another one of those links I'm becoming famous for: GIBSON BELT SAMPLE PICTURES Quote "Don't squat with your spurs on." www.GibsonLeather.com

BruceGibson Posted April 4, 2007 Author Report Posted April 4, 2007 Thank you, Dave! This one is just swivel-knife cuts and a camo border stamp. Strangely enough, it's one heck of a popular combination. I appreciate the kind words! Quote "Don't squat with your spurs on." www.GibsonLeather.com
Contributing Member Regis Posted April 27, 2007 Contributing Member Report Posted April 27, 2007 Bruce, Belts are simply great. What machine did you use to sew those belts? regis Quote God, Family, and Country (although liberals are attempting to destroy these in the USA)
BruceGibson Posted April 28, 2007 Author Report Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) Thank you, Regis. The machine I use primarily is an Artisan Toro 4000P. If you'd like to take a look at some of their offerings, the website is www.artisansew.com. Dusty Johnson directed me to these folks awhile back, and I've been real impressed with them. The two gentleman that run the show are Jerry and Steve. The thread (cord) I use on my gunbelts is heavier than necessary for the application, but it's a design element here, so "standing out" was one of my goals. The topside is 346 and the bobbin thread is a step-down at 277. Edited April 28, 2007 by BruceGibson Quote "Don't squat with your spurs on." www.GibsonLeather.com
