Members Paul Sm Posted 2 hours ago Members Report Posted 2 hours ago Can anyone explain what the 4 switches do in the up and down positions? Thanks Paul Quote
AlZilla Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago At a wild guess, 3 is needle stopping up or down and 4 is up or down for the presser foot. Maybe you're supposed to reach down and flip that #4 switch instead of reaching for the lever? Members dikman Posted 26 minutes ago Members Report Posted 26 minutes ago #4 suggests it automatically lifts the foot when you stop stitching. #2 whatever it does when in the down position it's off. Whatever #1 and #2 do screws 4 and 5 adjust the speed. Quote Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500. Chinese shoe patcher; Singer 201K (old hand crank)
