hello all, i am new to leather working but have been listening to people talk about the things they make and it looks like a blast. I am a husband, father, mechanic, artist, outdoorsy, and survivalist. I have done some simple leather working but that was a while ago and now i have the time to try something that i can use everyday.

Welcome to the forum! I don't know exactly where you are located, but I know there is a New Tandy store going up somewhere in Tucson. A friend of mine just got assigned there and is working to get it built up inside to open it. If you are near and get a chance, stop by and say hi to Crystal! She'll take of you as almost ALL Tandy manager's will.

Greetings from Round Rock, Texas

Welcome to the site, this is a great place to learn from some of the experts. The Tandy store in Tempe also has a small gathering of people every wednesday afternoon and evening, we just bring projects in to work on and help each other with ideas and techniques, newbies are always welcome, the more the merrier.
