Miniature Bronc Belts

Here's a couple of miniature Bronc Belts I just finished. They are 17 1/2" X 3 3/4".

I learned to put two coats of resist on next time, and not to get in a hurry.

The one I wanted a paint horse and the other one the whole figure had resist on it. I was not quick enough to get the dye off the one with all resist.

I'm doing another one with a different tooling pattern. It is a miniature reproduction of an

S.D. Meyers bronc belt.

Those are really neat-o! What did you use for a background in the floral dept.? A seeder?

What is a miniature bronc belt used for?

Also, what brand swivel knife is that?

Those are waaaay cool. I could see one of those in a display with a mini saddle easy enough. I wonder if they'd fit Wilbur's monkey. (A few will understand that. What was his name, "Whiplash"?)

I got the part about Wilbur's monkey. I don't know if his monkey was Whiplash or not. Tommy Lucia's is named Whiplash, but I don't remember what Wilbur called his.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I will slow down a little and do a better job next time.

bustedlifter - I just used the two shortest bar grounders they make 3-seed and 5-seed. I have had to make one with one seed for smaller tighter patterns, this one had big background spaces.

Tina - These miniature bronc belts will just be for decoration. I make a lot of miniature items such as saddles, chaps, gun rigs, spur straps... I will have the same guarantee on these as I do my chaps, "If they fit, you get your money back!" ( I crack me up)

And the swivel knife is from Leather Wranglers with a 1/8" angled blade. Paul custom made it for me and I love it!!! Their website is: www.leatherwranglers.com

Bruce & leatherrookie - So you are talking about the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame rodeo clown Wilber Plaugher. I remember him very well, I think he was one of the best. Did you know the dog and monkey HATED each other? Probably because the monkey would reach behind him and just RIP out hand fulls of hair off the dog.
