Ohio Travel Bag

Recommended Posts

I just received a nice note from the president of OTB who wanted to let us know that OTB does NOT require a wholesale tax number for an order, but that they do have a $30 minimum order policy. OTB carries an enormous selection of hardware, and if you do a good bit of custom work, you will find yourself reaching for their catalog often. They carry a few items you probably can't get anywhere else.

So we can order from them, but we can't request a catalog? Maybe I'm confused:

if you dont have a tax id you have to call for a catalog ( at least that's how I understand it) :grouphug5vj5:

It has been a long time since I have asked for a catalog, but I remember having to pay a nominal fee that was refunded with my first order.

Also if you see something that is from there parent company (weaver/hidehouse or whoever it is) you can call them and they will try to make it available at OTB. It may just take a little bit of time.

The full catalog is online but is not as easy to page through as is a printed catalog, which also comes with a price sheet.

OTB also has a "sister" site called "Hardware Elf", which offers a somewhat smaller selection of items at retail prices, but no minimum purchase. Also, if you see something on the OTB site that isn't available on the Hardware Elf site, contact OTB and they will try and make the item(s) available on Hardware Elf.

Here's a link:

Just FYI...

Great info. I tried contacting them a few months ago via e-mail, and the response made no sense.

That's cool, it used to be $100. I used to buy a lot from them when I was in the states. You can hit $30 easily only a few pages in.

I don't remember exactly but I think you can also download their whole catalog. I am sure I have it downloaded somewhere. Then it's a little easier to get through.

That´s true you can download their catalog from here.

They divided it into parts, because in one file it would have been too big. BTW Ohiotravelbag is a real good company. If you´re searching for hardware take a look on their page, in most cases they will have what you are searching for.

Cheers,

Marcel

I called them about a year ago. They took my information, (I don't have a tax id). They sent me a catalogue free if I remember correctly. I do a lot of business with them. Very nice folks. Just remember the $30 minimum.
