Members Dwight Posted February 5, 2009 Members Report Posted February 5, 2009 I posted a question about Airsoft guns as suitable options for using to form/bone holster, it seemed like there was a lot of question and possible some of them are not as accurate. Today I discovered Blackhawk Demo Guns on closeout from LA Police Gear for $24 ea - they have Glock 17, Beretta 92, S&W J-Frame and SIG226. http://www.lapolicegear.com/bldegun.html Thoughts? About a year ago, . . . I went through a couple of threads on TFL and 1911.com, . . . and actually logged down what everyone answered to the question "What do you carry?" My list showed a preponderance for Glock 19, Beretta 92, and 1911's, . . . and I bought the appropriate "blue gun" dummies for those. So far, the 1911 and Glock have been used several times, . . . the Beretta gathers a lot of dust. But I paid $35 or so for each, . . . your deal looks better. And I echo the other comments about the blue guns being really great to work with for molding, etc. May God bless, Dwight Quote If you can breathe, . . . thank God. If you can read, . . . thank a teacher. If you are reading this in English, . . . thank a veteran. www.dwightsgunleather.com

Members mncarpenter Posted March 9, 2013 Members Report Posted March 9, 2013 For future reference, Try RMB Leather-the Bluegun Store, a forum member and supporter. Rob is conscientious, quick to ship and to add icing to the cake, special orders his inventory, to be shipped without the final coat of blue finish, which is present on everyone else's blueguns and comes off on your leather unless you strip it off first. I order exclusively from Rob ,have for the last year ,maybe, and am totally satisfied. Only had one glitch with an order, and Rob dealt with it quickly and fairly. Don't even think about ordering from anyone else!!! Quote North Star Holsters
