Members MHolzer Posted February 12, 2009 Members Report Posted February 12, 2009 Here's the new pouch I finished up this weekend. I colored it using Tandy's Tea Green highlighter. The dragon was colored using a gold leafing pen. I think it turned out nicely. What do you guys think? Quote
Members CitizenKate Posted February 12, 2009 Members Report Posted February 12, 2009 I like your dragon, and how the gold leafing turned out. I'm going to have to try that. If you like metallic colors, the Createx pearlized colors are also very nice. What did you use for a finish on this? Thanks for posting! Kate Quote
Members Greybeard Posted February 12, 2009 Members Report Posted February 12, 2009 ohhh, I like! Hmmm Tandy's Tea Green highlighter and gold leafing pen? Ill have to give that a shot... Quote
Members Raven Posted February 12, 2009 Members Report Posted February 12, 2009 Very nice, I like that a lot Quote
Members OutBackP Posted February 12, 2009 Members Report Posted February 12, 2009 Very cool I love the colours Quote
Members MHolzer Posted February 12, 2009 Author Members Report Posted February 12, 2009 I finished it with spray Neatlac on both sides of the piece before it's assembled, then a quick spritz on the lacing once it's put together. I'll have to check out the createx colors I've never heard of them but they sound interesting. Quote
Members Aulus Posted March 11, 2009 Members Report Posted March 11, 2009 Very nice, yes I like it. Could you tell me what kind of Backgrounder you´ve used? Or is this the original Leather-Surface? It looks great. Quote

I recently made a purse based on this pouch and backgrounded the strap too. Quote
TomSwede Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Neat dragon!!! I sure like the gold you got with that pen, I want one too;-) That backgrounder is my favourite to work with, it does the job fast and is easy to use and looks good. Tom Quote
