Drac Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 noyce! looks like if I'd started that thing, it wouldn't be completed for a year, and still not turn out as nice. Quote
esantoro Posted March 1, 2008 Author Report Posted March 1, 2008 Nice Job Ed. what type of leather? This one is 5/6 oz oiled chrome tan. Quote
Doug C Posted March 1, 2008 Report Posted March 1, 2008 Ed, I really like your bags also! How do you hold the gusset in place for sewing? Doug Quote
esantoro Posted March 1, 2008 Author Report Posted March 1, 2008 Ed,I really like your bags also! How do you hold the gusset in place for sewing? Doug I glue lightly and clamp. I remove the clamping clips as I stitch. The only gusset seam that is difficult is the middle one, and that is only about two inches on the corners. ed Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted March 1, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted March 1, 2008 You probably should go down to the Hobby store and pick up one of those miniature kitchen sinks to put in there for the pix. It holds everything AND the kitchen sink...lol Quote

I'm curious to see how buyers will respond, as my standard size bag is 16" x 11.5". ed Quote
Members gunfighter48 Posted March 1, 2008 Members Report Posted March 1, 2008 Hi Ed, Your progress on these bags in the last 8 months has been outstanding. They look terrific and each is better than the last. The detail on this bag is just extraordinary. Are you going to leave it natural or dye it? John Quote
