Ed,

I really like your bags also!

How do you hold the gusset in place for sewing?

I glue lightly and clamp. I remove the clamping clips as I stitch. The only gusset seam that is difficult is the middle one, and that is only about two inches on the corners.

You probably should go down to the Hobby store and pick up one of those miniature kitchen sinks to put in there for the pix. It holds everything AND the kitchen sink...lol

Ha, ha. I should photoshop in a kitchen sink, though your idea is better. I like it. This is an 18" x 13" bag. I'm curious to see how buyers will respond, as my standard size bag is 16" x 11.5".

Hi Ed,

Your progress on these bags in the last 8 months has been outstanding. They look terrific and each is better than the last. The detail on this bag is just extraordinary. Are you going to leave it natural or dye it?

John

Hi John,This is a slightly oiled chrome tan. I'll leave it as it is, though I am thinking of starting to dye some veg tan. Thanks for the compliments and thank you to all who have helped out with my obsession over getting just the right tension settings.Ed
