Pip Report post Posted March 1, 2008 (edited) Here is my latest project, worked with a few scrap bits i had from other projects. It was made for a lady who runs a local craft shop that sells my bracelets. Its my second proper stitching project. She was well pleased with it.... I am happy(ish) with it too. I need more practice with the material lining, I made a bit of a mess of it. I was intending to put an edging around the seams a la Kevin kings magnificent wallets but.... time, patience, and lack of experience conspired against me and i dropped the idea. What you can't see is that the purse has and expanding gusset between the front and back peices, in the rust/purple suede that is on the opening edge, inside the flap acting to protect the edge from wear as the hand goes in and out. I am interested in knowing what you all think! I was between posting here and the critique section, but i am quite pleased with it so posted here! Please feel free to critique, any helpful stuff readily and eagerly received. Thanks. Edited March 1, 2008 by Pip

Oscar B Report post Posted March 1, 2008 That is nice work Pip. We all develop our own style as time goes by. I am not sure but KK probable uses thin leather for the binding. Just keep up the good work.
Spider Report post Posted March 2, 2008 Pip, I love the look of this wallet. The lining is cool and the outter design is cool too. A rotary knife will clean up those edges but other than that I looks very nice.
