Heck with the bench, look at those boots, they are beautiful. I have some old timey dressing fox hunters that would kill for those. A couple of my three day girls wear them and polo players like them, but they're too cheap to pay for a decent pair. They have them made in Argentina or Brazil and then come to me because their $200 custom boots don't fit. "I can't send them back", they need some crackers to go with their whiiine.

I think I need to get my meds refilled,

Kevin

Kevin,

thank you for the compliment! The boot is an strap & buckle field boot same style as the bespoke trade in London, West End are doing them. It is an exciting style to make and the bellows tongue is the tricky part.

I know about Argentina, one of my clients ordered a pair there last year but I have not heard anything about it yet.

there's my bench...it doubles as my bedroom haha. I believe there's a project on it in that picture too. I live in a 9x9foot room, and work there too. I have a concrete ledge out of my window that i use to punch holes and do anything i need to with a hammer :)

jamsdean, corter,

nice benches you have, it reminds me about the time I was making shoes using the kitchen table as a work bench! Thank you for posting.

Great pics from all. Search the site, there are several threads around here of workbenches.

Here is my work space. It's set up so you can reach most every thing you need with out to much moving to get it. The tool rack in the second photo I made in wood shop back in high school and I need to make a second one for the new tools I keep getting.

Mark,

what a nice and clean work bench you have. My master told me "show me your work bench and I can tell the quality of your work". Well, he meant that a clean bench is needed if you want to make top grade stuff.

Thanks for posting yours.

Not to pick on anyone but here's one of the many reasons that I believe in pictures being stored locally on the forum's server.

Here is a pic of my work area under the enclosed portion of my deck. It's all cypress and cedar and smells great while working outside.....I love it! I keep everything in rubbermaid containers and take it out when needed. The table is solid teak and weighs a ton. I couldn't move it if I tried! All the dyes are kept in my toolbox. I would love to get a bigger piece of granite and bolt down a rivet setter. Any suggestions?
