I have had these boots for many years and I would wear a black belt with them. I decided to make a belt that matches the boots better.

really neat!!! How did you dye the back, flowers, and did you resist the border and then burnish it?

Black Background, oxblood on flowers with a black antique cream over the top. I burnished the edge then sealed it before I started. I mixed a couple of drops of black dye with the oxblood, just to darken it up a little. On certain parts of the tooling I stained heavier to get some depth into the belt.

Very good looking belt!! The edga looks very good in natural and gives a very nice framing to the floral work.

P.S. - Get some new heel caps on those boots quick!!! lol.
