I would like to find suppliers for the soft non-leather padding found on halters - I've seen the stuff in white and black. Does anyone know the right name and who sells the material?

Thanks.

The only kind of padding I can think of is neoprene. Is that what you're refering to?

I dont know if it is what you are looking for, but Tandy in spokane sells a white padding material. I have some here in my shop that I didnt use. I used some when building leather knee pads for a welder friend of mine. it is about 1/4 inch thick and has a cloth type backing. Feel free to PM me if it sounds like something you are looking for.

Kathy. Try a google search under the trade name of plastazote. Depending on what you intend using it for, 24kg/M3 (soft) or 45kg/M3 (firm) is commonly used for equestrian applications.
