Buck65102 Report post Posted April 1, 2009 Looking to find a source for spring metal clips that go into the back of a law enforcement badge carrier to clip the carrier to a leather belt. Tandy and others have ones that have a hole for a rivet at the bottom, but looking for one that has a raised "hump" area at the bottom rather than the hole,to fit into a slot cut into the back of the badge carrier. I have several old badge carriers that have this type of clip, but can't seem to locate a supplier. Any help appreciated. Buck

Randy Thanks for the advise and identifying a supplier. I was afraid that the ones with the hole for the rivet or Chicago Screw would be too long for the badge carrier, but may give your suggestion a try. Would a Chicago screw work, or have you found rivets to work better?.

Todd Report post Posted April 8, 2009 Use the rivets as chicago screws have a tendency to back out and you don't want to lose that badge.
