Tina Report post Posted April 1, 2009 I had a little package showing up today...And I've been busy ever since:-) "Bearman" here on LW made me a maul, 9oz in weight, with Mahogany, curly Maple and curly Walnut (if I got it right). The tool is an absolute beaty both to look at and to use and 9oz fits most of my type of carving like a glove in my hand. Ontop he made a stand to it. All I can do Bearman... And a Huge Thank You for the nicest maul/mallet I have seen. I have never understood why it is common practice to have the tooling maul in a cylindrical shape.
