Marietje Report post Posted April 2, 2009 Hello all, i'm from The Netherlands and am not a member long yet. I find this site so interesting and can learn so much of you all. Do some leather art for about 1,5 years now but can spend less time than I want. I also do horse-hair hitching, simple patterns, do not have time to figure out difficult ones, same as with the leather but I'm eager to learn more. Buy books and hope to find the time one day to bring in practice what I read. Tried to upload some pics from my first saddle bag and horn bag, but didn't work. Will try from another computer one of these days. Well, thanks for reading this and hope to learn a lot from you all so I can post some nice stuff too in the future. TomSwede Report post Posted April 2, 2009 Hi and Welcome!!! We're almost neighbours since I'm in Sweden and Netherlands definetly got some Scandinavian heritage about a thousand years ago. This is the right place to be stunned and study. Some members are truly amazing leathercrafters and we're proud to have them here. People tend to be very helpful around here so never be shy to ask if you see something you want to learn more about. When you post pics make sure they don't surpass the upload quantity 1 mb and remember to hit the upload button after you have found and attached your file. I forget this often and sit and wait until the lights go up for me. Tom
rdb Report post Posted April 2, 2009 Welcome Marietje! You'll find plenty of people from over there on the Board, and growing larger by the day. We all win! The Guilds started over there, looks like there'll be enough of you to start another one up soon.
