alsleather Report post Posted April 19, 2009 This is a tutorial of a stamped belt design. 1. After you have sized the belt, mark a line on the center of the belt. You can also add a border line. 2. The first stamp that I used was G9008-03 which is stamped on the guide line. 3. The next stamp used is V406 which is stamped between the points of G9008-03. 4. After the veiner was stamped, the next stamp is D637 which is stamped on the center lines on both sides. 5. The F922 is stamped that fills in the space above D637. 6. The S932 is stamped between the veiner impressions. 7. The final stamp used is S350 stamped in the center at the points of the G9008-03. You can see that I used a variety of stamps which included a geometric, veiner, border and seeders. I work from the center first and then fill the design. Have fun stamping! Johanna Report post Posted April 28, 2009 Allan- you did a great tutorial! Send me the original pics by email ( admin@leatherworker.net ) and I will upload the larger pics so everyone can see the detail easily. I'm not seeing any larger versions of the pics on my end, so I'm guessing the forum reduced the small pics even smaller. And folks- be easy- Allan is one of the best stampers ever, but the computer is relatively new to him. I give him a great big gold star for trying, and I hope you folks didn't discourage him from trying again! Johanna

From what I can see it looks amazing with symmetry that must take years to get right. Not to mention that he did a separate piece to show each different tool? That's dedication. Bring it on Allan!
