Contributing Member UKRay Posted May 17, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted May 17, 2009 Beautiful work but I'd like to see the processes you go through to make one of these. What is underneath the leather? Ray Quote

Members Excell Posted May 18, 2009 Members Report Posted May 18, 2009 Looks terrific. Two questions - ok, I'm always full of questions, but two for now: What did you use for forms? Is that a cover on the original scabbard, or from "whole cloth" so to speak? Also, what finishes did you use? If it is not a cover for the original scabbard, what did you use for lining and finishing on the inside? I love the work! Quote

Members budd4766 Posted June 2, 2009 Members Report Posted June 2, 2009 Very, very nice. I too would like to know how to do this. I have a bone-handled rapier that could use a new sheath/baldric. the Baldric would be easy, but I'm not so sure about the sheath. Great work, though, thanks for sharing. Quote
