hidepounder Report post Posted May 28, 2009 Here's a progress photo of an organizer I'm currently working on. I decided to draw some new flowers (my version of some flowers that have been around for a long time), and try them out on this project. I was getting tired of tooling all the little flowers I've been using lately. It was kind of fun to tool something that was standard size for a change! Please let me know what you think.....critiques, suggestions and ideas always welcome. Bob
Randy Cornelius Report post Posted May 28, 2009 Wonderful as always! Can you do a close up of the little rope around the letters? I would like to see the detail. I would like to use that on a project if you don't mind? Randy

Shelly Report post Posted May 28, 2009 Really gorgeous work, as always, Bob! Are you using Wickett for your leather?? I thought it might be, with the way it's colored up, I assume you already have a coat of oil on it? Will you be carving or stamping the back of the organizer?? bruce johnson Report post Posted May 28, 2009 Bob, Great job. I really like how you kept those central flowers above the others by bringing the continuing stem underneath. It really makes them pop. WOW. Bruce

Bob That's great tooling Bob. Thanks Troy! Bob Really gorgeous work, as always, Bob! Are you using Wickett for your leather?? Thanks, Shelly.....the leather is Hermann Oak. I used a Neat-Lac resist and then antiqued. The back and the binding will not have much tooling....i'ts a donation so I can't afford to fully tool both sides. Bob BOB You just are leting your work go to pot Lol !
