You seem to have a unique style. We would love to see pictures of more of your work! How did you learn to do leatherwork? Are there lots of other leather artists in your area, or are you one of just a few?

I think that in Kazakhstan working in this style 2-I and my friend. Though in Kazakhstan national crafts from a leather are developed. To process a leather I study under books and at you. It is very glad that you have responded. Excuse for bad English.

Welcome. I have some friends that visited Kazakhstan including Almaty a couple years ago. One of them told me about the amazing carving on doors that were being made.

Doors beautifully cut out in Uzbekistan. :) Kazakhs have simply strong doors:) Uzbekistan is beside of 2000 km.

Yes, they were also in Uzbekistan. I must have not understood correctly where the work was being done. I remember them talking about Almaty in Kazakhstan as one of their stops for a couple days.
