Members Talfuchre Posted June 8, 2009 Members Report Posted June 8, 2009 I have been using Barge Contact Cement from Tandy and I am running out. Without making ANOTHER trip to Tandy (30 mins one way) is there other Contact Cement you would recommend? Am I over thinking it - any contact cement work? Thanks, TF Quote
Members rustyriggin Posted June 8, 2009 Members Report Posted June 8, 2009 Alot of us on here use Weldwood, you can get it at just about any hardware store, get the eco friendly stuff, not the gel. It works great! and it's cheaper than barge. Give it a try, it'll work for ya. Quote "A horse is someone who can see the truth in you even when you are fooling everyone else."
Members Talfuchre Posted June 8, 2009 Author Members Report Posted June 8, 2009 Yup - this is what I picked up today - I had not checked this post - but I got a bottle of it in my hand, smelled, looked and acted the same. Said it wasa good for leather - so I picked it up. It acts the same - if it walks and quacks like a duck.... THANKS for the mental back up on this one. I am psyched to have a local and CHEAPER alternative. Plus I can get JUST as high smelling it! Kidding. TF Quote
