Shorts Report post Posted June 24, 2009 I daubered the interior and exterior before stitching. I was intending to go with white thread. However, I didn't like how the thread got greyish black ugly when I buffed it with my horsehair that had just been over a black holster <OOPS>. troop Report post Posted June 24, 2009 very nice. i did one similar for an H&K 45. i used the timber brown from eco-flo. (have since made a trip out of california and got the fiebings pro dyes) i daubed it prior to soaking and molding then sprayed it while it was just damp. came out just about same tone as yours. customer was happy with it. your stitchiing is looking good too.
