leather pots

Recommended Posts

I was not able to attend the class in Sheridan on forming leather pots given on Saturday afternoon. Does anyone here do that and are you able to do a tutorial or give instruction? I would like to know how to do this as I think there is a call for it here in my area.

Thanks much

Cheryl Smeja has a lot of her lessons available as downloads off of her website. Here's a link to the one on the pot class she taught in Sheridan. My wife and I both took the class and it seemed like everyone in it was having a lot of fun. It was pretty interesting to see what happens to leather when you dip it in boiling water.

Here's a picture of some of the pots made in the class.

Thanks Clay,

I just got the downloads and look forward to making a few pots. I also got the vases and flowers. I believe they will be well worth the money spent. Of course I will post some pictures when I make something.

I have been making the roses and doing well with them but have many inquires as to other flowers and boquets. Time will tell.

Thanks again,

Joe
