I just received the Leather Crafters Journal for Sept/Oct with your design on the cover. Great cover. Your work has much been admired over the years. This is what makes this such a great forum. You meet people from all walks of life who share an enjoyable addiction. The photos that are posted give us inspiration. Even though I'm still considered a newbie, I welcome you to the best Leather Workers Forum on line.

Paul has a leather resume too long to type- but it's stellar. When he offered to teach LW members, I knew you all would jump at the chance. I am grateful to Paul for giving us this opportunity and I'm sure you will all not only be delighted, but you're gonna learn something. He is an excellent teacher and a wonderful person, and I'm glad he agreed to share some of what he's learned over the years with us.

welcome.gif Paul, and thank you again!

Thanks again everyone, and a special thanks to Johanna for allowing me this opportunity to teach those wanting to learn. Glad to see that the current issue of the Journal has my cover and cover article. I haven't received my copy yet so I look forward to getting it soon. There is a followup article on turned back leaves and scrolls, so I don't know if that was including in this issue or one forthcoming. I also submitted a swivel knife exercise that I think you will find useful. I am encouraged by the response to my posting, both those who commented and those who viewed. Looking forward. Paul

Paul,

I think this is the "Everything Burnett" issue of the LCSJ. All of your articles appeared in it, carving the cover, the turnbacks, the swivel knife exercises, and a press release on the "everything Burnett club". Lots of great info in there. You do some of the neatest scrolls out there!!
