Hey all, I'm back in action after moving to the new place and setting up the shop. Here are a couple award halters that I finished earlier this week

Elton,

Good job as usual. Congrats on the new shop too. What are you using for the ring setup? Last two I fixed, the guys wanted slots and bolts instead of the dee and ring. BTW, after your posting of bronc halters a couple years ago, I can't look at my horse and NOT think "swamp donkey". He appreciates that.

First of all, thanks to everyone for the compliments. It's great to have the shop up and running in full swing and I will be sure to post pics.

Bruce, I'm still using the stainless 1 1/2" loop and ring set up from Weavers. I will use bolts only if I'm asked. Weaver could stand to use a bigger ring on that set up. I've made my own before by cutting an inch n a half dee at the weld, putting on a 2" ring and re-welding them.

Hi there,

I have a friend that I would like to make at least the bronc noseband for a halter for her.....would you mind sharing the measurements of the nosepiece? I am not sure how big they are, have never seen one in person - this is beautiful - hope mine comes out as well!
