I had an opportunity to talk to one of the owners of HC this past weekend. Of course, I am not at liberty to reveal all the details, but I can say that HC has a solid plan for being all they used to be, and more. They have all kinds of leather, new product lines, teaching aids, better quality tools and...drumroll...they have a website that works. Yep, you can get on their website and browse all their products and order as you like. You can also call them up and tell them what you want- they have always been big on customer service, even through the difficult times.

That is comforting news for those far away! Being only hours away, I have always been able to pick up the phone or email Ron and get things quickly. Believe it or not, all of these changes have been stressing Ron out a bit. I call him one a week just to see how he is doing. Things have been rough since his best friend left, but he is hanging in there. I wish them well. I know that they (store, customers and employees) have taught me a lot.

Has anyone had any luck using this coupon when ordering online?? I tried this last time too and when I enter the coupon code during checkout it says that code doesnt exist, last time I sent a couple of emails to ask about the proble,. seeing as how this was a great opportunity to get a bunch of Barry King stamps, but no one bothered responding to anything I sent. I work offshore so I dont really get a chance to talk on the phone during business hours and most of my ordering is done online.
