Different Type of Pattern

I am trying to bring all the leather working knowledge that was taught me by my dad and many summer at YMCA and Boy Scout camps back to the front of my brain. I have found some really great tutorials on 2 of the 3 things I am focused on making, right now, but needed to know if anyone had a simple pattern for a belt slide? Former S.A.S.S shooter so I am familiar with the basic layout but putting one together is escaping me. I wanted to get something that would hold a second and third load for a .44 (Alaska has bears) without going to a dedicated belt.

Here's two styles I just made for a customer.It's simply sewn across the top and I used two snaps at the bottom.Hope this helps.Dave

I have one in a pattern set that I made, but the file is too large to post. But, I can do a little re-work and include some simple instructions to go with it for the caliber slide you need. Do you want it for 10 rounds or 12?

Thanks, Jim. BTW - thanks for the tutorial about making holsters, as well. I was looking to make it for 10 rounds (.44). Thanks, again.

Ten Rounds for .44 - I'll get right on it. By the way, these were specifically designed for SASS.

Jim - update to your much appreciated help. Came back to Alaska with a full double shoulder and got to work. The slide, with a minor modification, came out rather well. I did not get a snap set. Due to the remoteness of my post I made do with what I had. The holster- thanks to your tutorial- came out better than expected. I mis-measured something because, while my pistol fits, it is a forced tight squeeze. Pics of the second attempt to follow. Thanks, again.
