badLoveLeather Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Well. Working on a few more new things. I've been trying to branch out and do some different projects. Here are two knife sheaths that i made for a cheapo knife I have. The one on the left is a thick brown leather with an brown elephant trunk inlay and whip stitch kangaroo leather edging. The one on the right is a brown latigo with an ostrich leg inlay and a kangaroo lace mexican braid. Quote
MADMAX22 Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Pretty good looking sheaths. Personally I like the ostrich inlay one the best, I think those ostrich legs give a really cool effect when used as inlays. Quote
Members dustin29 Posted November 2, 2009 Members Report Posted November 2, 2009 Nice looking sheaths. I like the inlays on them. Quote
Members DCKNIVES Posted November 2, 2009 Members Report Posted November 2, 2009 They look really good, but I would have not used the rivets and would have run my lacing up farther. With very few exceptions rivets are not used on custom sheaths.Dave Quote http://dcknivesandle...lademakers.com/
