RWClark Report post Posted March 29, 2008 Hello all, found this site last night and just got all registered. So let me tell ya guys a bit about me, hopefully I will get to know everyone here a little better. I have been working with leather since I was 7, I am 35 so that makes for 28 yrs I think. I spent 17 yrs as a full time custom knifemaker. I left knifemaking to persue a career as a full time piliot and am now a pilot for the Sheriffs Dept Seach and Rescue. I was talked into going back into leather work by a couple knifemaker buddies. So now I run a small (almost hobby level) business making custom holsters and knife sheaths. I also do alot of side projects like watch bands and guitar straps. I prefer to work with exotic materials with Gator, shark and Elephant being my favorites. Well, thats me in a nut shell. I have included a few photos of my work. Alll in all I think they are OK, but I really need to work on the smal details. No 2 there is absolutely faboulous with it's lengthy, sleek, tooling all the way work, stunning stuff. RWClark Report post Posted March 30, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the kind welcome. Yes the first sheath, the holster, money clip and watch band are all Nile Crocodile. He was used in alot of projects around the shop. Here is some more of him. This is a scabbard sheath for one of bowies I made. FYI the knife is 22" long and 3" wide. The handle is fossil ivory.
