RMB Custom Leather Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 (edited) I have a customer who wants a rifle sling made but does not want to drill holes into his gun in order to install the swivels. Does anyone have a pattern, picture, or idea to accomplish this? Any information would be helpful. You can email the information to my email listed below. Members particle Posted November 8, 2009 Members Report Posted November 8, 2009 I can't really tell what/how this works, but you might do some research on it. http://www.cabelas.com/p-0037527216121a.shtml Quote

MADMAX22 Posted November 8, 2009 Report Posted November 8, 2009 Thats a cool idea. You could even encorporate a butt stock cover with where the sling attaches at the bottom. Only thing at the top is depending on what type of rifle he has and what type of sites the leather strap at the top could possible interfere with his site picture. So make sure you find that part out. Quote

Members HC Leathers Posted November 11, 2009 Members Report Posted November 11, 2009 Hi i get this sometimes here in the UK we call them barrel and but cups slings they are really only any good for shotguns as most modern rifles have a free floating barrel and the attachment of anything around the barrel can have a serious effect on the point of aim. do you have a pick of the gun in question i may be able to come up with something to help you but i need to have a look at the rifle all the best HC Quote
