paws Report post Posted December 17, 2009 It's been asked here, and there is another thread, but I don't think it has been answered so I'll give it a go.... Here is how I do it, no need to take the levers off. I use a 8 plait round braid (12 for 'fat' levers) 1) attach the lace to the levers where the levers attach using wax thread (don't worry it gets covered later) 2) Braid down the lever to the end, and then tie off again with the thread - now here you can either leave the ends or cut them off, personal taste here - 3) tie a turks head knot over the thread at both ends, this hides the thread and finishes it off real well. TIP: buy an a old lever on ebay and practise before you braid on the bike Hope that helps, and if you have a question (I might have left out something...) I'll try and help People like mine Paws

BWL Report post Posted December 22, 2009 I would like to add these to my bike. At shows they want $75. to $100. bucks each. Thanks for the information on brading and good idea on brading on a practice lever.
