Made this awhile back. Had kept the hide for a long time waiting to create something with it. When I was twelve I bagged my first buck, a six pointer. My grandfather had the head mounted and the hide tanned.

I believe it was. This was done in the early sixties. The hide  is still soft and supple.

That"s pretty cool. I don't know how many things I have from when I was 12, and that wasn't that long ago.
