Side Draw Sheath

I haven't made a lot of knife sheaths, but my dad gave me an older knife years before he died. The sheath that came with the knife was in pretty bad shape so I thought I'd finally make a new one for it. I have plans to braid the handle of the knife and hopefully it won't take me as long as it has taken me to make a sheath for it.

Here's the backside of the sheath. Not a whole lot to it.

I was going to hold off showing the knife until I can get the handle braided. Once I do that I'll re-post.

Thanks. Haven't got to the knife yet but I've been into my braiding books trying to figure out what type of braid I wanted to use. I've narrowed it down to a couple.
