Members Butch Posted December 29, 2009 Members Report Posted December 29, 2009 I haven't made a lot of knife sheaths, but my dad gave me an older knife years before he died. The sheath that came with the knife was in pretty bad shape so I thought I'd finally make a new one for it. I have plans to braid the handle of the knife and hopefully it won't take me as long as it has taken me to make a sheath for it. Butch Hi Butch, your sheath looks very beautiful - I like that braiding pattern - I`m very interested in the backside of your side draw sheath ! happy new year to you and your family, Fritz Quote if you stop trying to get better you have stopped being good .

Members Butch Posted December 30, 2009 Author Members Report Posted December 30, 2009 Here's the backside of the sheath. Not a whole lot to it. I was going to hold off showing the knife until I can get the handle braided. Once I do that I'll re-post. Thanks, Butch Quote Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction. Facebook

Members Butch Posted January 27, 2010 Author Members Report Posted January 27, 2010 Thanks. Haven't got to the knife yet but I've been into my braiding books trying to figure out what type of braid I wanted to use. I've narrowed it down to a couple. Thanks, Butch Quote Never approach a bull from the front, a horse from the rear, or a fool from any direction. Facebook
