wolvenstien Report post Posted April 4, 2008 I posted this before the crash.... and wasnt able to get a place to get the hardware, so i am posting again. I went and bought the Tandy windshield bag kit thinking I would steal the hardware out of the kit.... Low and behold all the hardware is already installed to the leather.... the only thin you need to do to the kit is lace the gussets together.... So... I still need to find a place to get these hardware brackets... Pix attached are from and old project that I canabalized the brackets from....

Bobby hdflame Report post Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) Why not make your own? That's what I was gonna say. It looks pretty simple, and you've already got pieces to make your patterns from. Shouldn't be too hard to make your own. It looks pretty thin. I'm thinking some scrap sheet metal and some sheet metal shears would do the trick. It looks pretty thin. I'm thinking some scrap sheet metal and some sheet metal shears would do the trick. It would be a little tough making the bracket with hand tools since the rectangular portion has to have a rolled "lip" on top and bottom. That is so the bag doesn't hang crooked. Yes, it could be done, but I don't think the end result would look very finished or professional. Wolvy: PM me. I have some extra brackets. If you only need a couple, I'll sell them to you. earthling33 Report post Posted July 7, 2014 I've been finding just about everything in jpcycles catalog. See if these are what you want: http://www.jpcycles.com/search.aspx?search...g&store=All If you buy your brackets, make sure they are the right width to line up with the windshield screws. Not all windshields are the same. You may have to call the vendor because it's not usually listed on the website.
