Members leatherworklee Posted January 9, 2010 Members Report Posted January 9, 2010 Friends. I need to find someone who can replace a broken blade in a horsemans folding pocket knife. It has 5 blades .... Hoof Pick, Leather punch, Mane/tail thinning blade, L shaped hoof pick and the main straight cutting blade is broken. Contact leatherworklee@yahoo.com

Members TexasJack Posted January 10, 2010 Members Report Posted January 10, 2010 (edited) The amount of work needed to do that will cost far more than a new knife (maybe several new knives). And it will be nearly impossible to do it without messing up the knife. What CAN be done is to round off the remaining blade so that it can still be used - it'll just be shorter than before. I have a knife that I broke 25 years ago and fixed that way. The trick is to do it so that you don't ruin the structure of the metal. Another thing you can do is try ebay. I did a search and came up with one hit for 'horsemans pocket knife": Click here Edited January 10, 2010 by TexasJack
