Members DonnieBlaze Posted January 25, 2010 Members Report Posted January 25, 2010 (edited) hay all, I saw an add in shop talk mag for a pather sewing machine for $325. has any one ever used on and is it any good? also what would you use one for? is it any goot to make saddle bags, wallets, knife sheats, holsters, boots,saddles ect.? CowboyBob Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 Donnie, The price isn't to bad & they are a handy machine to have around but they are not good for sewing what you want as they won't take heavy enough thread & sew as thick as what you need + they have a top feed which means the foot has teeth on the bottomside that pulls the leather & it'll leave some nasty teeth marks on the top of what your sewing.
