Members Double U Leather Posted January 26, 2010 Members Report Posted January 26, 2010 Here's the second headboard/footboard piece. The other part has been moved to "Other Specialties---furniture". I hope the gal likes them. I like the other one better, but that's my opinion. This one didn't turn out too bad. Plenty of things I wish I'd have done differently, but for a "rookie" it'll hafta do. Let me know what you think. Quote
Members Storm Posted January 26, 2010 Members Report Posted January 26, 2010 I like them both. Time to get a better nickname. This one is beyond rookie status! Storm Quote
Members Double U Leather Posted January 26, 2010 Author Members Report Posted January 26, 2010 Thanks Storm, but trust me...the nickname still fits. One day, I may move beyond "rookie" status, but not just yet. Thanks again for the compliment. Quote

Contributing Member JLSleather Posted January 27, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted January 27, 2010 (edited) Yep, I like it. Funny, when I clicked the topic it crossed my mind -- how long do you use that name? Really, this is nicer looking than some of the "professionals" I've met... If you really NEED suggestions, I suggest you forward all of these rejects to me This is of course the difference between those who really are good at it and - well - others... The real talent is always looking for a way to do it BETTER. Edited January 27, 2010 by JLSleather Quote
Members Kustomizer Posted January 27, 2010 Members Report Posted January 27, 2010 That is beautiful! Love the coloring! Quote
Members Double U Leather Posted January 28, 2010 Author Members Report Posted January 28, 2010 Update on the headboard/footboard pieces........the lady got 'em today and she is all giddy about 'em. I guess she didn't see the bobbles that I know are there....LOL. Anyway, I told her she had to send pics of the entire finished project so all of you could see it. I'll keep you posted. And, thanks again for the compliments. Quote
