Cane Toad Skin Inlay Belt

Recommended Posts

Cane Toads are serious problem in Australia, needless to say we have an endless supply of toad skins.

There are numerous uses for the skins. This is one of mine.

I just need to brush up on my photographic skills as the pic is a bit out of focus....sorryhead_hurts_kr.gifsmile.gif

Very cool piece.   :clapping: Now having lived in Australia for some time I am aware of what a bloody pest Cane Toads are. They rank right up there with rabbits. I have an idea for you. As they are so plentiful and an such why not start a business tanning and exporting the little buggers. Mulitple designer colors and such and you could start out with black, brown, tan, and so forth. They are rather sizeable as you know. When I lived in Darwin I knew some guys who did sea snakes and they were as soft as a babies bum. How much do they charge for one tanned cane toad?

Love to see some more!
